Starting next Sunday (11/13), we will begin a Children’s Collection, called the Loaves and Fishes Project, at the 8:45 AM & 10:45 AM Masses Food Pantry families.

Prior to the regular collection at Mass, all children will be invited to come to the altar to place their offering in the basket at the front. Monies raised from the collection will go to provide our Food Pantry families with a nice meal for the Christmas season. A quarter, a dollar, or more – all donations will be appreciated.

If this project becomes popular, we may add it to other Masses as well. We are hoping in this way that the children of the parish will feel connected to the liturgy and an integral part of the church community. Their (and your!) generosity will also help us to make Christmas a little brighter for our Food Pantry families.
